As a member of Trade Union Jyty, you will receive a membership card, which also serves as your insurance card at the insurance company If. The card also allows you to enjoy various benefits and discounts. You can choose either a mobile membership card or a plastic membership card – you get the same benefits with both.
The membership card provides you with various discounts on, for example, accommodation and boat trips. Go to the ‘Member benefits for spare time’ page to see all the benefits and discounts available with Jyty’s membership card. You can enjoy the member benefits with both the mobile and plastic membership card. Membership and member fee information must be up to date in order for the card and member benefits to be valid.

Trade Union Jyty has introduced a mobile membership card for employed members, with the card functioning in a mobile app that can be downloaded to a smartphone. The mobile membership card is used alongside the plastic membership card. With the mobile membership card, you get the same benefits and discounts as with a plastic membership card. The mobile membership card serves as your insurance card at the insurance company If. The insurance number and details are stated on the card. Jyty’s member benefits and topical issues are also linked to the mobile app.
How can I set up a mobile membership card?
You can download the app from App Store or Google Play, but you can only activate it through a link sent in a text message. Therefore, do not try to download the mobile membership card from the app store until you have received an activation message from MagMa.
Instructions for using Jyty’s mobile app (pdf)
If you want to receive the mobile membership card to a phone number that is not the one you received it to, follow these steps: log in to Jyty’s e-service Jässäri, select Member information > Personal information > edit your phone number information so that you tick the Membership communication contact box next to the phone number to which you want to order the mobile membership card. Then go to the Order section and order yourself a mobile membership card. The system then displays the phone number to which you are ordering the card.

Plastic membership card
If you opt for a plastic membership card, it will be posted to your home. The front of the membership card states the member’s name, membership number and association. The back of the membership card serves as your insurance card at the insurance company If. The insurance number and details are stated on the card.
The same information and benefits are also included in the mobile membership card, so you can choose to use either one.
Ordering a new membership card
You can order a new membership card by logging in to the members’ e-service Jässäri. Go to ‘Orders’ to choose whether to order a mobile membership card or a plastic membership card.
A text message is always sent concerning your mobile membership card. Click the link in the message to activate the card. First, you need to download the app from the app store that you use and register as a user of the service. Create an account and password. After this, you can log in to the app with the username and password you created.
We deliver mobile cards once a week, so you will not receive it on your phone immediately. Plastic membership cards are delivered once a month.
