Jyty’s plastic membership cards are history, and we have switched to using only mobile membership cards in 2025. The activation link to the new mobile membership card has been sent as a text message to all members, who have a phone number saved in the member register.
With the membership card you can prove your membership in Jyty, and thus you get different spare time membership benefits, such as discounts on accommodation, cruises and gyms. You can also download and print a membership certificate in the e-services Jässäri.
In the beginning of the week starting December 16 you received a text message with a download link to your mobile phone number, and using that you can activate the new mobile membership card. The sender of the text message is MagMa. The text message is sent to all members with a phone number saved in the member register.
The actual application is downloaded to the phone from App Store or Google Play, but it is activated only through the link sent by text message.
If you do not receive a text message, your phone number has not been saved in the Jyty member register, or it is inaccurate. In that case, please correct your phone number in Jässäri at “Member information” and there at “Personal information” and click save. After this, send a message in Jässäri, by which you order the mobile membership card to be activated for you. The message is sent at ”Contact us”.
In case you have not used the mobile card application earlier: The first time you use the application you have to register to the application. The mobile card application is completely separated from Jässäri, so the same username and password will not work.
In case you have used the mobile card earlier: An e-mail address works as the username for the mobile membership card. If the original e-mail address that you used to register in the mobile application is forgotten or not in use, we ask you to contact Magma directly: support@magma-app.com. Magma has to reset the account you have registered, in order for you to activate the new e-mail address. Unfortunately, the reset can be done only by them. Please remember to mention your phone number in the message so that Magma easily finds the user information that you have registered earlier.
If you have not received the text message, your phone number has not been saved in the Jyty member register, or it is inaccurate. In that case, please correct your phone number in Jässäri at “Member information” and there at “Personal information” and click save. After this, send a message in Jässäri, by which you order the mobile membership card to be activated for you. The message is sent at “Contact us”.
If necessary you can download and print the membership certificate in the e-services Jässäri at Member information > Membership certificate. The membership certificate is equivalent to the membership card as proof of Jyty membership. If you do not have the opportunity to download the mobile card, you can use the membership certificate when using one of many Jyty member benefits.
You do not need the membership card in order to prove the Jyty membership insurances, all the insurance information can be found on the webpages of Jyty and insurance company If. As a member of Jyty you have a comprehensive spare time accident and travel insurance as well as a professional liability and legal expenses insurance. At your disposal there is also the Jyty organisation insurance, i.e. you are insured when participating in Jyty events and educations.
In your phone the membership card is always with you, and it cannot disappear. The membership card can also always be downloaded again, if you switch phones or lose the application.
Jyty is committed to the WWF Green Office environmental programme and aim to act in an environmentally responsible way. For this reason, it is also sensible to quit the plastic membership cards.
